The Sauvignon Blanc is a very old varity which was first mentioned in Austria
back in the eighteenth century. In the past it was widely known as
Muskat-Sylvaner, especially in the wine growing regions of styria. In the
last years the Sauvignon Blanc experienced a growing popularity and can
already be found in most of the vine cultivating regions of
Austria

Colour

Light yellow colour with some green reflections.

Taste

While young it shows its spicy bouquet remembering on gooseberries and
elder-blossoms. Getting older it keeps this character and points out its
tremendous and deep aroma complexity.

Suits to

Spicy meals, curry or herbal sauces, noodles with gorgonzola cheese,
asparagus and light meat.
