The Riesling can also be called Rheinriesling Weißer Riesling. In
Austria we often call it Rheinriesling for a better differentiation from the
Welschriesling. Altough the names of this two grape varieties sound
similiar, it has to be pointed out that there is no further relationship
between them. The Riesling is undoubtedly one of the most valuable white
varietis world-wide if not the most valuable of all. The grapes ripen very
late at the end of October, therefore the variety is not suitable for late
regions or sites. the full ripened grapes with their very characteristic
acidity form the wonderful harmony of the Riesling wine.

The Riesling captivates with its exceptional grapy fruit. A slight residual
sugar content and the acidity determine the harmony of this wine, its racy
style, the freshness and the elegance.
