The Chardonnay is a variety of the Pinot family. Compared to the Pinot Blanc
it normally seems to be more elegant and gentle, and undoubtly is a very
noble white wine. The grape shows a tendency to higher sugar levels which is
essential for the production of the typical Chardonnay wine. A Chardonnay is
usually a rich and full wine with a higher alcohol level.
