don't worry, everything's bilingual of course (German, English).
Towards
year's end -
2011-12-12, 10:37 am
A few more weeks and the year 2011 will be history already. That's the time of the year when we are
also able to have a few days off and to enjoy a quiet time. But not yet, there are some more things
to do until then and as always we have lots of news from the Sonnenmulde Estate Winery.

Just announced and already available - the first young wines of the 2011 vintage are bottled and
have passed their first tastings. We find them to have turned out very good which was to be expected
in this great wine year. But why not have a try for yourself?

And what's with autumn? -
2011-8-25, 2:48
pm
We were already under the impression that summer would completely desert us this year but now it's
back - and how it is back! Well, we're happy about that, just as our grapes are.

Summer -
2011-6-24, 3:34 pm
Summer has begun, date-wise as well as weather-wise. Now is the time of the year where the vines
grow wildly, the grapes develop quickly and where we spend most of our work out in the vinyards. But

Our wines in
Biomarkt Maran -
2011-5-21, 10:02 am
Our wines were intentionally not available from food market chains until now. We have just changed
that but for a very good reason. Big chains are not our thing but if it's about a small company
that's commited to providing only high quality products the story is different. Especially if that
company only sells organic products that are preferentially made by local producers.

It's on! -
2011-4-26, 5:14 pm
We took some quiet time for ourselves over the past long weekend while our vines where already
jauntily growing. The first vines started to bud almost two weeks ago and due to the warm and sunny
weather even latecomers like Riesling have woken up by now. Thus the 2011 vintage hasreally started.

Berlin Wine
Fair -
2011-2-23, 8:07 pm
It's time again for the Berlin Wine Fair. The cold weather alone should give enough hints for that.
We had hoped for warmer weather due to this year's later date but anyway. We won't complain. It's
warm inside and we are looking forward to interesting days in Berlin. Starting Friday on the
historic Tempelhof Airport - Hope we'll see each other!

fair time -
2011-2-5, 5:46 pm
Time flies and the new year is already one month old. Winter pruning is now almost finished as well
so what to do with our time?. But wait - there was something! Of course our great wines are not only
for making and enjoying them ourselves but for sale as well. So February ist just right for a fair
time. Maybe not weather-wise but still nice for tastings and exhibitions.

Into 2011 -
2011-1-7, 10:30 am
Christmas and New Year have passed and we did spend the time quietly. This was good and necessary
after the busy year 2010 and the hectic pre-christmas time. But now we are sprightly going into 2011
where we have many new things planned.
