Christmas and New Year have passed and we did spend the time quietly. This was good and necessary after
the busy year 2010 and the hectic pre-christmas time. But now we are sprightly going into 2011 where we
have many new things planned.
January is the time for winter-pruning in the vinyards. In the cellar however there is not much to do, the
wines are ageing and still need some rest. But bottling of the white 2011's is already foreseeable. They do
need some more weeks to get ready but at the end of February or early March they will be ready to drink and
therefore bottled.
Until then you have plenty of opportunities to taste our previoius vintages
tough, especially if you are in Germany. Almost every weekend we will be partaking at a wine exhibition in a
different city. We will visit Nuremberg, Hamburg and Berlin. You'll find all dates and details in our
List of Events. Come by and say "Hi" , we're looking
forward to all visitors!
The only thing left now is for us to wish you a good and successful
start into the year 2011, best enjoyed with wines from the Sonnenmulde Estate Winery of course!
