Wines of the vintage 2010. A cold winter with some scattered frost damage and a rather cool spring followed by a humid summer set the tone for this vintage. Our area, being the warmest part of the country, luckily always has a few hot days to offer in August and the weather did improve a lot in the end, comforting us with a few nice and sunny weeks. Overall the vintage brought fresh and tangy white wines with a nice acidity. The reds were a bit on the lighter side in colour as well as alcohol. Instead they offered great fruitiness which is never developed this intenslely in warmer years.
