|
The Blaufränkisch red wine variety offers an enormous high quality
potential. It is probably the most interesting red wine at all in Austria.
It loves warm and sheltered sites. The yield is average, but its fruitiness
and ease of drinking make it very attractive. The Blaufränkisch is
known for its deep bouquet and the heavy tannin and extract influenced
flavour.

Rosé Blaufränkisch :
|
Rosé is wine of pale to light red colour which is made out of the same
blue grape varieties red wines are normally made from. This light colour can
be reached by simply squeezing the grapes after de-stemming and press them a
couple hours later. Depending on the ripeness and the grape variety only a
small part of the colour gets dissolved out of the skins resulting in the
light red colour. The pressed must (juice) is fermented like white must
afterwards.

created which are reminiscent of vanilla and a hint of roasted
coffee-beans.
