Pinot Blanc Auslese 2003
The Pinot Blanc is an old, traditional white wine variety and well known in almost every nameable wine
growing region on earth. Everywhere the Pinot Blanc is much renowned and developed in many variations
ranging from dry fruitiness to the extreme sweetness of dessert wines made out of overripe botrytised
grapes. Frequently it can also be found in a very strong style, oaked and bone-dry but with an
exceptional full-bodied appearance which is much appreciated by wine enthusiasts from all over the
world. Our sweet Pinot Blanc Auslese wines are made exclusively of manually selected overripe grapes.
The resulting wines are already very powerful, noticeably sweet and therefore a good starter for a trip
into the great world of Dessert wines.
Tasting notes: Our Pinot Blanc 2003 Auslese offers an outstandingly full flavour and a beatiful
consonance of residual sugar and acidity. It serves perfectly as a companion to cheese, sweet and fruity
desserts as well as it is suited to be enjoyed in contemplative hours.
Drinking suggestions: This wine already promises lots of drinking pleasure and will remain so for
years to come. Serve at 6-8° C (43-47 F).
