Chardonnay 2006
The Chardonnay has always been esteemed as a variety beeing able to yield excellent white wines. In
Austria it was frequently confused or blended with Pinot Blanc in the past until people learned to know
more about this variey a good 20 years ago. Since then it is commonly developed genuinely and able to
demonstrate its quality which made Chardonnay wines famous and highly-valued all around the world. Our
Chardonays are exclusively dry styled and generally show a highly fruity and ripe character.
Tasting notes: Our Chardonnay 2006 offers a full aroma reminiscent of ripe flowers, interspersed
with exotic fruity notes. Nuances of banana and papaya blend harmoniously with an elegant, full body and
a well rounded, palatable acidity, a wine. This is a wine simply to enjoy and suits best to white meat,
sauces and seafood. It also a good companion for light vegetable food like asparagus.
Drinking suggestions: Drink ideally within 2 or at most 3 years after the harvest. Serve at
6-8° C (43-47 F).
