Sauvignon Blanc

The Sauvignon Blanc is a very old varity which was first mentioned in Austria back in the eighteenth century. In the past it was widely known as Muskat-Sylvaner, especially in the wine growing regions of styria. In the last years the Sauvignon Blanc experienced a growing popularity and can already be found in most of the vine cultivating regions of Austria

Light yellow colour with some green reflections.


Taste
 :

While young it shows its spicy bouquet remembering on gooseberries and elder-blossoms. Getting older it keeps this character and points out its tremendous and deep aroma complexity.


Suits to
 :

Spicy meals, curry or herbal sauces, noodles with gorgonzola cheese, asparagus and light meat.
