We took some quiet time for ourselves over the past long weekend while our vines where already jauntily
growing. The first vines started to bud almost two weeks ago and due to the warm and sunny weather even
latecomers like Riesling have woken up by now. Thus the 2011 vintage hasreally started.
Now we need some good weather. That means warmth and sun as well as some rain so that the vines have enough
water to thrive on. Under such circumstances they grow very rapidly and reach meters of length within only a
few weeks. And before one knows they start flowering already.
The start went very well this year
